An invitation only event for senior leaders in HR, People, Talent and L&D

6th May 2026, The Arding Rooms, London, SW11

workforceLIVE: empowering the ai-enabled organization

The Biggest Barrier to AI Adoption Is Not Technology

The real blockers to AI adoption are human. Fear, culture and a reluctance to admit what we do not yet know. AI has become a taboo subject. Leaders talk about it as if they understand it, but behind closed doors, many are paralysed. They are not sure where to start and they are afraid to ask.

This event exists to change that.

AI workforceLIVE is a safe space. A morning built for honest conversation. Whether you are at ground zero or already deploying AI across your workforce, this is where you come to get clarity, build confidence and leave with a practical plan.

"35% of businesses admit their AI projects are stalled by a lack of internal expertise."

Who should attend?

Leadership Series events are free, but attendance is by invitation or application only
This event is for senior leaders in mid-market organisations who are under pressure to move from AI intent to deployment.
• Senior leaders in HR, People, Talent and L&D from the UK scale-up and mid-market community.
• Leaders responsible for making AI work operationally for your people, not just theoretically.
• Teams dealing with real-world constraints around skills, change management and employee adoption.

What Our Research Found and Why It Matters

Over the past three months, aibl has tracked over 500 UK mid-market companies across 28 sectors. Of those, 52% showed public signals of AI adoption activity, from pilot projects and vendor partnerships to full production deployments and dedicated AI leadership hires. While the market is buzzing with AI, our data shows that the People pillar covering HR, skills and culture is the most neglected area, representing a dangerously low 11% of all AI signals. Yet 35% of businesses admit their AI projects are stalled by a lack of internal expertise. This forum is built to close that gap.
